Obituary for Nicholas Alexander Medveckus
Nicholas Alexander Medveckus, beloved son of Vincent J. and Andrea L. (Bell) Medveckus, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from an unexpected illness at age 18.
Nick was a 2019 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and was majoring in Nursing while attending Bloomsburg University.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Gabrielle; maternal grandparents, Alexander A. and Mary Catherine (Koehler) Bell; paternal grandmother, Leslie Miller; aunts and uncles: Alexander and Judy Bell, Alyson and Frank Higgins, David and Mary Ellen Bell, Victoria and Randy Yeager, Keith and Jennifer Medveckus and his cousins.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073. Officiating will be Rev. Robert A. Roncase. Burial will be private.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Nicholas Medveckus to the Cardiac Center at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Checks made out to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation can be mailed to P.O. Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178.
