Obituary for Patricia Ann Gehris (Miller)

Patricia Ann Gehris (Miller)
Patricia Ann (Miller) Gehris, 67, of Wescosville, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest from complications associated with fighting Leukemia. She was the wife of Bruce H. Gehris, Sr. for 21 years on September 7, 2018.

Born in Quakertown, she was a daughter of the late George F. Miller and Mildred (Schmoyer) Miller of East Greenville.

She grew up in Hereford and attended Upper Perkiomen schools, she recently attended her 50th high school reunion. Pat loved her job as a medical billing specialist, in fact she would have done it until the day she died if she could. She was a very active member of Faith Church, loving to work at the Info Center with a goal of meeting someone new each week to show around the church and welcome. No matter where Pat went she knew someone. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter and grandmother. Her family was blessed with many extra months after she was put on hospice last year but miraculously went into remission.

Along with her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughters, Michelle, and husband, Anthony Zissimos of Mount Laurel, NJ, Mandi Scheetz, and boyfriend, Kris L. of Shoemakersville and Kristina, wife of Scott Higgins of Northampton; sons, David Gehris, and wife, Patti of St. Peters, Missouri and Bruce Gehris, Jr., and wife, Robin of Pottstown; brothers, Glenn Miller, and wife Vivianne of Lansdale and Richard Litzenberger of Pottstown; sisters, Sandy Litzenberger of Hereford and Elaine, and husband Dr. Joseph Perez of Coopersburg; grandchildren, Shawn, Kyle, Bruce III, Jessica, Demetrius, Alexander, Madison and Morgan; great granddaughter, Megan; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Along with her father, she is predeceased by her grandmother, Viola (Shoenenberger) Keen.
