Obituary for Paul L. Lorish
Paul E. Lorish, 87, of Bechtelsville, PA, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Vivian J. (Fronheiser) Lorish.
Paul was born in Topton to the late Thomas and Clara (Hillegass) Lorish. He was an Army veteran and worked for many years as a diesel mechanic for Morris Berman Inc. and retired from Diesel Service in Reading. After retirement he worked parttime for Passmore Service Center. Paul also worked parttime at Grandview Speedway.
He was a member of St. John’s-Hill UCC, Boyertown, PA and Bechtelsville Fire Company.
In addition to his wife of 64 years, he is survived by his daughters: Cynthia Brower and husband Robert, of Boyertown and Jill Christman, of Florida; grandchildren: Joel and Zachary Brower, Amber Dillon, Rachel and Owen Dietrich; great-grandchildren: Cali and Brodie Brower, Carter Downer and Leon Nguyen, Landon, Mason and Nora Brower; siblings: Margarete Hobart and husband Alan; Joan Egolf; Diane Goulner; Raymond Lorish and wife Linda; Sydney Lorish and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers: Marvin and Martin Lorish.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at 2:00 PM at St. John’s Hill U.C.C., 620 Hill Church Rd., Boyertown, PA 19512. Friends may call from 1 - 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church at the above address or to Boyertown Area Wrestling Assoc., PO Box 362 Boyertown, PA 19512. Arrangements are by Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
