Obituary for Peter D. Miller

Peter David Miller, 63, of Pennsburg, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Reading Hospital-Tower Health. He was the loving husband of Deborah Lynn (McKee) Miller, sharing 44 years of marriage together.

Born in Upper Darby Township, he was the son of the late Richard C. and Ida L. (Cupper) Miller.

Peter was a graduate of Radnor High School and then upon graduating, pursued a career as a truck driver, working for Emmanuel Tire out of Conshohocken after starting out independently.

Peter enjoyed spending time in New Jersey on his boat, whether it was fishing, crabbing or keeping up on the maintenance. He also loved animals, especially his German Shepherd “best friend”, Chief. However, above all of this, Peter was a hardworking “family man”; his wife, children and grandchildren meant everything to him. He and his wife were inseparable for the 44 years they were married; they even built their current home together in 1982.

Surviving along with his wife, are his two children, Melissa Landis and husband, Matthew of Green Lane and Harley Miller, Sr. and his fiancé, Alyssa Menkins of Pennsburg; his six grandchildren, Melinda, Madeline, Michael and Morena Landis and April and Harley, JR., Miller; his sister, Dolly Kilcullen; and his brother, Eric Miller and wife, Linda.

Due to the unprecedented circumstances presented by the COVID-19, services will be private.

Due to his love for animals, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the No Nonsense Neutering, 1044 N Quebec St, Allentown, PA 18109
