Phay Elliott Davis, 63, of Aurora, OH and formerly of Gilbertsville, PA, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019 in University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was the husband of Audrey A. (Heacock) Davis.

Born in Berwick, PA, he was a son of the late Donald C. Davis and Nellie (Phares) Smith. He was employed in Ohio working as a Global Product Manager for Selas Heat Technology Company.

In addition to his wife he is survived by sons: Chad E., husband of Shannon Davis, of Barto and Brett A. Davis, of Aurora, OH; Brother, James, husband of Cindy Davis, of Whitehall; Grandchildren: Peyton and Drew Shellaway, Austin, Jase and Reese Davis; and Daughter-in-Law, Kyle Shellaway, of Gilbertsville. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Corrine M. Davis, step-son, Jason A. Shellaway, and siblings: Charles Kenneth, William Karl, Jolene Smith, and Sue Ellen Boughman.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Rebecca Schanely. Interment will follow in Friedens Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11-1 PM.
