Obituary for Preston Allen Moyer
Preston Allen Moyer, 84, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Frederick Living. He was the loving husband of Linda L. (Sefing) Moyer, sharing 58 years of marriage together. They lived and raised a family in Souderton but then later found themselves living a life in Sun City Center, FL for 30 years before their move to Frederick Living.
He was the son of the late Harold and Florence (Lord) Moyer and was a 1954 graduate of Souderton High School . He also proudly served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1961.
After being honorably discharged, he began his career at UPS and worked his way up to a management position, retiring in 1991. He was also a volunteer fireman for the Souderton Fire Co.
Surviving along with his wife are his two daughters, Kelly C. Schneider and husband, Brian of Colmar and Andrea “Smokey” L. Schroeder and husband, Jeffrey of East Greenville; two granddaughters, Megan L. Cunningham and husband Stephen of
Barto and Lauren L. Schroeder of St. Augustine, FL; and his two sisters, Margaret A. Yoder and husband, Wilmer of Red Hill and Rosa Anna Moyer and husband, Stanley of Hatfield.
Due to COVID-19, a memorial service at Frederick Living will be announced and held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
