Obituary for Robert E. Cope
Robert E. Cope, 93, of Palm, PA, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022 at Pennsburg Manor. Born in Montgomery County, he was the son of the late Margaret Hoffman and longtime companion of the late Margueriete G. (Marks) Fries.
Robert was a graduate of East Greenville High School where he played basketball, baseball & football. Bobby started working at B&H while in high school and then resumed working there after his Army service as a Corporal during the Korean War.
Bobby was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg and the American Legion Post 184. An athlete, he played for the American Legion Baseball team and bowled. He also enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are beloved cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, October 28, 2022 at St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery on Penn Street in Pennsburg, PA.
