Obituary for Robert H. Ditro
Robert H. Ditro, 85, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away on Monday, September 28. He was the husband of the late Mary Louise (McQuillen) Ditro, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage.
He was born in Philadelphia, a son of the late William E. and Margaret M. (Brennan) Ditro. Mr. Ditro worked for many years as a construction laborer for Henkels and McCoy until retiring in 1996. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Church, Pennsburg, PA. He also loved the outdoors, hunting, hiking, taking drives and cooking.
Surviving are his children: Denise M., wife of James E. Breidenbach, of Pennsburg; Gerald D., husband of Colleen Ditro, of Cochranville; Michelle L., wife of Matthew Ziegler, of Pottstown; 7 grandchildren: Matthew, husband of Christi, Lisa, Paige, wife of Andrew, Erin, Julia, Juliana and Lauren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, William E. Ditro Jr. and John G. Ditro.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020 at 12 Noon at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073. Officiating will Rev. Anthony Hangholt. Calling time is from 11-12 PM at the church. Burial will be private.
