Obituary for Robert G. Herrmann
Robert G. Herrmann, 64, of Hereford, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.
Born in Phoenixville he was the son of Heinz A. and Mary Jane (Davis) Herrmann of Pennsburg.
Robert was a 1972 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and worked at the family business, Green Lane Tool & Die, as a tool and die maker and machinist, throughout his entire career. He enjoyed collecting coins and currencies, antique snuff bottles and trading cards.
Robert was a compassionate man who adored people and thrived on making others laugh and smile. He had an immensely generous heart and was always willing to help others.
Surviving along with his parents, are his three children, Jennifer, wife of Robert Lees of Barto, Brad R. Herrmann and wife, Kristie of Pennsburg and Steven A. Herrmann of Pennsburg; five grandchildren, Chad, Cody, Jacob, Chad and Alexis; and two sisters, Linda, wife of William Gebert of Pennsburg and Rebecca, wife of Ronald Mikanowicz of Pennsburg.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 11, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Gil Vining officiating.
