Condolence From: April Schiel
Condolence: I didn't know Mr. Rabe for very long. In fact, it was a stroke of luck that I met him at all! He and his family were driving past my farm, not a mile from his home, because they saw our brush hog. Fast forward to a few phone calls later, I learned that he was sick. My friends at the farm and I rode our horses down to visit and one of his great grandchildren (I'm sorry, her name is eluding me...) got to sit on my horse while I went in and talked to Mr. Rabe. In the very short time that I knew him and his wonderful daughters and extended family, I felt like he truly had a passion for helping people and making friends. I wish I had met him sooner.
