Obituary for Robert P. Schwenk

Robert P. Schwenk, 76, of East Greenville, PA, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital Upper Bucks Campus. He was the loving husband of Diane (Schaeffer) Schwenk. They would have celebrated 54 years of marriage on Wednesday.

He was born in Quakertown, one of nine children of the late Clarence and Dorothy (Hildenbrand) Schwenk. Mr. Schwenk was an Army veteran and worked for 45 years as a press operator at Knoll before retiring. He also spent 25 years at Brick’s Sales in Quakertown. Bob was a volunteer on the Upper Perkiomen Valley Ambulance and also spent 25 years as a Fire Police Captain with East Greenville Fire Company. Bob was an avid dirt track fan. He loved spending his Saturday nights with his family at Grandview Speedway cheering on his favorite, Duane Howard. He also loved the outdoors and spending time on his porch.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children: Tina Schwenk, Tracy Lynn Huber, companion of Joseph Funk, and Travis Schwenk; siblings: Galen, Edward, Richard, Larry, and Homer Schwenk and Pauline Stelmach; grandchildren: Emily Warner, companion of Kyle Gardner and Brittany Huber; and great-grandson, Logan Gardner. He was preceded in death by siblings: Carl Schwenk and Kay Moyer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA. Viewing will be from 9-11 AM. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be offered at www.mannslonakerfunerahome.com.
