Obituary for Robert Wayne Moyer
Robert Wayne Moyer, 84, former mayor of Trumbauersville, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Phoebe Richland Healthcare Center. He was the widower of Kay F. (Schwenk) Moyer.
He was born in Allentown, a son of the late A. Byron and Edna Mae (Trauger) Moyer. In addition to serving as borough mayor, Wayne served as Milford Township Road Master for 18 years until retiring in 2003.
He was a member of West Swamp Mennonite Church. He was also a member of Clara Creek Hunting Club in Potter County and loved antique cars.
He is survived by his daughter Wanda Moyer; grandchildren: Kimberly, wife of Harry Witt Jr. and Kaitlin Moyer; brothers: Willard, widower of Beverly Moyer and Earl, husband of Kathy Moyer; and his companion, Mildred Sell. He was also preceded in death by his son, Scott, husband of Barbara Moyer and sisters: Mary and her husband Marvin Knechel and Mildred, wife of Ernest Knechel.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM at West Swamp Mennonite Church, 2501 Allentown, Rd, Quakertown, PA 18951. Calling time at the church will be from 10-11 AM.
