Obituary for Russell L. Styer
Russell L. Styer, 85, of East Greenville, PA passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at St. Mary’s Manor, Lansdale, PA. He was the husband of Alice (Rosahac) Styer.
He was born in Pennsburg, a son of the late Harvey and Margaret (Hoch) Styer. Russell served in the Army National Guard and was employed for many years as an assembler at U.S. Gauge in Sellersville until his retirement.
In addition to his wife of thirty-five years, he is survived by his children: Kevin Styer, of Souderton; Kathy Stephenson and husband Ronald, of Key West, FL; step-children: Paul Valent and his wife Stacy, of Quakertown, PA; Dr. Julianne Cordin and husband Erik, of Mendham, NJ; brother: Paul, widower of Gloria, of Pennsburg, PA; sister: Alverda Laubach and husband Dennis, of East Greenville, PA; grandchildren: Katy, Kristi, Amanda, Alyssa, Kevin Jr., Jeb, Ivy, April and Amber; step-granddaughter, Shelby Valent; and several great-grandchildren. Russell will also be missed by his canine friend, Holly.
Relative and friends are invited to his Funeral Service to be held on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St. East Greenville, PA. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM. Burial will be in New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association by visiting www.alz.org.
