Obituary for Ruth E. Lesher (Heffentrager)
Ruth Elizabeth Lesher, 80, of Salford, PA, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Gwynedd Healthcare and Rehab Center. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (Mory) Heffentrager and the loving wife of Linford L. Lesher, Sr., sharing 60 years of marriage together.
She enjoyed playing the lottery and scratch off tickets, completing word search puzzles, watching TV and most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her six children: Pammy Weikel (John), Patty Devine (Kenny), Nancy Shirmer (Dave), Linford Lesher, Jr., Tommy Lesher, and Miriam Herbst (Companion, James); five siblings, Robert Heffentrager (Diane), William Heffentrager (Yvonne), Hattie Breesewine (Warren), Diane Brosius (Warren) and Miriam Schaub; two step-siblings, Aletta Gonzalez (Pablo) and Kenny Sipple (Companion, Nancy). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a grandson.
