Obituary for Ruth K. Moll (Detweiler)
Ruth K. (Detweiler) Moll, 88, of Pennsburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of George Moll, Jr., sharing 72 years of marriage together last February.
Born in Green Lane, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Emma (Geiger) Detweiler, Sr.
She was employed as a sewing machine operator for the former Perkiomen Clothing for 26 years and also with Knoll for 19 years before retiring in 1996.
Ruth was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville and a member of the American Legion Post 184 in Palm. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Pinochle.
Surviving along with her husband are a daughter, Vicki Nyce of Green Lane; a grandson, Robert Prinz of Pennsburg; a great-granddaughter, Nicole Prinz of Mertztown; a brother, Robert Detweiler of Red Hill; and two sisters, Elsie Miller of Pennsburg and Mae Nace of Pennsburg; many nieces and nephews; extended family, Amanda Capaldi and Howard Reichert and beloved dog Sky. She is predeceased by a daughter, Donna Prinz; twin grandsons, James Douglas and Craig Douglas Behney; a brother, Wallace Detweiler, Jr.; and a sister, Helen Anderson.
