Obituary for Sheryle H. Roesener (Derstine)
Sheryle H. Roesener, 69, of Bally, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville. She was the loving wife of James P. “Jim” Roesener, sharing almost 50 years of marriage together. Born in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Aldus and Dorothy (Hackman) Derstine.
Sheryle was a graduate of Penn Ridge High School and was a secretary for Robert Nace Real Estate for many years. She then retired to stay home to raise her children. She eventually went back to work and was employed at Rosenberger’s Dairy as a sales merchandiser and then lastly, at Pennsburg Manor as a nursing aide. She was also involved with Curves in East Greenville and enjoyed volunteering with Seniors Helping Seniors. Above all of this, her greatest joy was being a mom and grandmom.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are her three children, Travis Roesener of Coatesville, PA, Joshua Roesener and wife, Stephanie of Exton, PA and Crystal Escue and husband, Brad of Leander, TX; four grandchildren, Annabelle and Hazel Roesener and Hannah and Madeline Escue; and her three sisters, Mildred, Elaine and Darlene. She is predeceased by siblings Ruth and Clyde.
