Obituary for Shirley R. Meek (Moyer)
Shirley R. (Moyer) Meek, of Pennsburg, PA passed away on November 15, 2021 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of the late Melvin Meek.
Born in Upper Hanover Twp., she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Beatrice (Leh) Moyer. Shirley worked for many years for Philco-Ford Co., Spring City, PA until her retirement. She also worked for the Upper Perkiomen School District where she was employed in the middle school cafeteria and was loved by many of the students. Those who knew and dearly loved Shirley will miss her love of music and her amazing warmth and kindness.
Surviving are her sisters: Arlene Koons, Eva Peterson and Janet Doremus all of Pennsburg; nieces and nephews: Linda (Koons) Renninger, Harold Peterson Jr., Mark Peterson, Daniel Peterson, Brian Doremus, Barry Doremus, Brenda (Doremus) Daniel and seven grand nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Eric.
