Obituary for Stacey A. McDonnell (Buehrle)

Stacey A. (Buehrle) McDonnell, 37, of Birdsboro, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019 at Pottstown Hospital-Tower Health after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the loving mother of Aubrey L. and Tyler A. McDonnell.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of Willard L. Buehrle, Jr. and wife, Carol of Quakertown and Rhoda J. Hettrick and fiancé, Thomas Benfield of Boyertown.

Stacey was a 1999 graduate of Pennridge High School and was employed with Nationwide Insurance for 14 years where she was currently a CL Small Market Underwriting Manager.

Stacey’s main passion was her children. She put all of her energy into spending everyday with Aubrey and Tyler; whether it was trips to Knoebles, the beach, or running in races with them, she was always active and present in their lives. Stacey was also proud of and involved with her Relay for life of Daniel Boone team, Fighting Cancer to Infinity and Beyond. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by everyone that knew her.

Surviving along with her children and parents, are her brother, Corrie I. Nyce and wife, Allison of East Greenville; two sisters, Kristy L. Primodie and husband, Justin of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ and Ashton R. Onisick and husband, Ryan of Phoenixville, PA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Willard and Joyce (Finkbeiner) Buehrle, Sr. and John and Gloria (Kulp) Bobyak.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Gil Vining officiating.
