Obituary for Stanley E. Geisinger
Stanley E. Geisinger, 92, of Barto, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Pennsburg Manor. He was the husband of Jane I. (Bleiler) Geisinger, sharing 70 years of marriage.
Born in Huffs Church, Hereford Township, he was the son of the late Earl V. and Mabel (Moyer) Geisinger.
Stanley worked for and retired from Boyertown Casket Company but his greatest accomplishment was becoming an entrepreneur and founder/owner of Geisinger Suburban Acres, a mobile home park started in the 1970’s holding 45 units off of Forgedale Road in Barto. He worked very hard making sure all of his tenants were satisfied and his properties were up to standard. A dedicated landlord, it was never too much work for Stanley, he loved taking care of the park and dreaming up new projects. Stanley was also very proud that he preserved the family farm and took great pleasure in looking over the large open fields, forests and watching the wildlife.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, loved animals and driving his tractor through the fields and yards.
He was a member of Huff’s Union Church.
Surviving along with his wife are his three children, Pamela, Kevin and Scott Geisinger.
A funeral service will be held at 12 PM on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA. A burial will follow in Huff’s Union Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508.
