Obituary for Stella F. Eidle (Renninger)
Stella F. (Renninger) Eidle, 92 of Gilbertsville, PA, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Eidle, Sr..
Born in New Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Stella (Fryer) Renninger.
Stella was a wonderful homemaker and dedicated her life to her children and husband. She found joy in cooking, baking, gardening, solving jigsaw puzzles and in her later years, babysitting her grandchildren.
She was a longtime member of New Hanover Lutheran Church in Gilbertsville.
Surviving are her six children, Robert Eidle, Jr. and wife, Nancy, Ralph Eidle and wife, Debbie, Delores Eidle, Donna Matz and husband, Dave, Rodney Eidle and wife Kathy and Roger Eidle and wife, Sharon; nine grandchildren, Eric, Travis, Scott and wife, Michelle, Steve and wife, Wendy, Ryan and wife, Lisa, Laura and husband, Michael, Katie and husband, Rob, Sean and wife, Ashley and Craig and wife, Shannon; 12 great-grandchildren, Katy, Mady, Van, Ava, Nolan, Harper, Skyler, Ben, Michael, Jr., Tony, Siena, and Graeme; a great-great granddaughter, Isla; and four siblings, Hilda Knauer and husband, Paul, Lester, Kenneth and Leona Renninger.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by seven siblings, Alice Layman, Lloyd Renninger, Beulah Houck, Fred Renninger, Jr., Linford Renninger, Ida Renninger and Iva Renninger.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at New Hanover Lutheran Church, 2941 Lutheran Rd, Gilbertsville, PA 19525 with a burial following in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
