Obituary for Steven P. Sharrow
Steven P. Sharrow, 66, of Bally, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. He was the loving husband of Kathleen A. (Weller) Sharrow, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles and Alma (Stengel) Sharrow.
Steven was a 1975 graduate of Boyertown High School and later began a long career as a pipe fitter with the Local 420 Steam Fitter Union. Prior, he was employed with Bally Block and Bally Case & Cooler.
Steven was a resourceful, self-reliant and practical man, who could always be found in his garage. He had a knack for fixing things. He was the local handyman and found great joy in helping others in his community with anything that needed fixing; from lawn mowers, snow blowers, etc.
Most of all, he loved his family and being a husband, father and pop-pop. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving along with his wife are his two children, Nate Sharrow and wife, Kristina and Kailin Mickletz and husband, Kurt; six grandchildren; Levi and Cameron Sharrow and Adelynn, Everleigh, Brielle and Rome Mickletz; four sisters, Diane Jacobs and husband, Michael, Joanne Rhoads and husband, Tim, Anita Leininger and husband, Robert, and Angela Hish and husband, John; and his inseparable canine companion, Lady.
He is predeceased by brothers, Gregory and John Sharrow.
A funeral will be held at 11 AM on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Most Blessed Sacarament, 610 Pine St., Bally, PA 19503 with a burial following in the church cemetery.
