Obituary for Terry K. Yerk
Terry K. Yerk, 85, of Frederick, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Phoenixville Hospital. He was the loving husband of Elva “Diane” (Martin) Yerk, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.
Born in East Greenville, PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Emma (Koons) Yerk.
Terry was a Union Carpenter for Philadelphia Union 167, retiring after 31 years.
An avid hunter and talented shooter, Terry had a passion for hunting. He ran his own trap line for many years and was a member of various gun clubs.
Surviving along with his wife are his five children: Monica Yerk, Ronald Yerk, Leslie Hiles and husband, Mark, Lorelei Norris and husband, Michael and Karla Teller and husband, Karl; nine grandchildren, Hillary, Lauren, Ronnie, Rachel, Matthew, Tara, Jamie, Kyle and Jacob; 14 great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Scarlett Parke, James Yerk and Vickie Makins.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. You may greet the family from 11 to 11:30 AM prior to the service .
