Obituary for Thomas Delikat
Thomas Delikat, of Center Valley, PA, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the loving husband of Annie (Meitzler) Delikat, sharing 47 years of marriage together.
Born in Sellersville, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Hackman) Delikat.
Thomas was a 1969 graduate of Souderton High School where he was Class President. He excelled in football (player #40), played baseball, and coached both after graduation. He also excelled in swimming on the Souderton area swim team, where he held records for swimming for over 40 years.
He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was employed with Leidy's, Inc. as a clerk for many years. He enjoyed fishing, aviation and most of all, spending time with his adored grandchildren. He was a proud "Dzadzi" and always supported his family in any way he could.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Thomas Ashley Delikat and wife, Amber and Laura Miller and husband, Sean; six grandchildren, Thomas James, Magda, Stas, Marta, Audrey and Cooper; and two sisters, Mary Lou Jozos and Theresa Elledge and husband, Paul.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Salem Bible Church, 8031 Salem Bible Church Rd., Macungie, PA 18062.
