Obituary for Thomas R. Frieze
Thomas R. Frieze, 75, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospice House on Tuesday, February 18, 2020.
He was born in Philadelphia to the late Henry and Helen (Little) Frieze. Tom was an Army Veteran and was the owner and operator of Tom’s Auto in Glenside until retiring. He was a life member of the American Legion and VFW and had been serving since 1994 as the President of Vietnam Veterans Chapter 590, Philadelphia, PA.
He is survived by his children: Eric L. Frieze, of Philadelphia; Jennifer Marie Frieze, of Pennsburg and Jessica Marie Frieze, of Phoenixville; brother, Barney Frieze, of Drexel Hill; grandson, Milo Frieze and companion, Judith Pritel. He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Frieze Jr. and sister, Eleanor Rubin.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 from 10-11 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington East Greenville, PA 18041, with Words of Remembrance to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Vietnam Veterans Chapter 590, PO Box 63096, Philadelphia, PA 19114-0896.
