Audrey B. Sell

Audrey B. Sell, formerly of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late William S. Fillman, Jr. and Pauline (Barndt) Fillman. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Sell, with whom she shared 55 years of marriage until his passing in 2012.

A graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School, class of 1954, Audrey devoted much of her professional life to working alongside her husband at R.J. Sell Excavating in Pennsburg. She served as the company's bookkeeper for many years before retiring.

Audrey was a dedicated member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Sumneytown, where she found faith, friendship, and a strong sense of community. She had a love for the outdoors and took great joy in caring for her garden, yard, and pool. Audrey cherished time spent with family and friends, especially her Christmas brunch, and picnics by the pool.

She also treasured time at the family cabin in Promised Land, Pennsylvania, and the beach house in Ocean City, New Jersey. Audrey will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

Audrey is survived by her children: Leslie Blair, Tamara Ticknor, and Richard Sell II (Stephanie); her grandchildren: Morgan, Rachel (Dillon), Corey, Jared (Kaitlin), Cole, Nathalie (Pearson), Remy (Margaret), and Margaret; and her great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Gavin, Charlie, Rhett, James, and Drake.

A visitation will be held from 9 to 10:45 AM on Friday, April 17th 2026 at St. John Lutheran Church, 3104 Main St., Green Lane, PA 18054 with a memorial service to follow at 11 AM. Burial will take place in Frieden's Union Cemetery, Sumneytown. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home.
