David R. Buzby

David R. Buzby, fondly known as Buz or Buzzy, passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 71. Born in Allentown, PA, he was raised in Red Hill by his late parents, Robert and Sara (Dreisbach) Buzby.

A 1973 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School,  David dedicated much of his life to his work as a facilities maintenance provider at Brown Printing, which later became the East Greenville Business Center.

Deeply rooted in the Upper Perkiomen Valley, Buz was known not only for his hard work but also for his warm and welcoming personality. His friendly demeanor and helpful spirit touched the lives of many, making him well known throughout the Valley. He was a proud member of the Red Hill VFW Post 5954, the American Legion Post 184, and the East Greenville Fire Company, where he made lifelong friendships. David also had a passion for cars and was an enthusiastic member of various car clubs.

Above all, David took great joy in his family. He is survived by his daughter, Christina Buzby-Erb (Daniel); his beloved granddaughter, Kelsey Rhyne; and his three sisters, Linda Schollenberger (Edward), Patricia Burks and Sally Wheeler (Norman).

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026 from 2-4 PM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 followed by a celebration of life.
