David L. Kline Sr., of Barto, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Friday, August 21, 2020 at age 76. He was the husband of Joan M. (Gilly) Kline.
He was born in Pennsburg to the late Clayton and Jennie (DeLong) Kline. David was employed for many years at Knoll Inc., until his retirement. He was a lifelong outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his Pike County Cabin. He was also a lifemember of the NRA.
In addition to his wife of 57 years, he is survived by his children: Denise, wife of Jonathan Stadler; David L. Kline Jr. and his companion Carol Ann Baer; and Dawn Ziegler; Siblings: Katherine, wife of David Moyer; Herman, widower of Hannah Kline; grandchildren: Lakyn, Joel, Kristen and Samantha; great-grandchildren: Sophee and Hailey and many nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by siblings: Doris Henry, Irene Taglieber, Robert and Jimmy Kline.
At his request there will be no formal services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hunting Outreach.
