Frank Papez

Frank Papez, of Pennsburg, passed away on April 22, 2026, at the age of 90. Born in Prague, Czech Republic, Frank was the beloved son of Camilla (Delinge). In the early 1960s, he made decision to migrate to the United States, where he would eventually carve out a life filled with passion and purpose.

Frank dedicated an impressive 60 years as a Merchant Marine, a career that not only sustained him but also fulfilled his lifelong love of the sea. In addition to his passion for the sea, Frank was also a true animal lover, nurturing a profound appreciation for all living creatures.

He was the longtime partner of Maragaret Sabo, with whom he shared 50 years of companionship before her passing in 2015.

He is also survived by good friends Anderson Warwick and Hanna Peterwas.

A visitation time will be held from 1:30 - 2:30 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a funeral service to follow at 2:30PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the local Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Rd., Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
