Galen L. Dulin, of Pennsburg, passed away at the age of 78 on December 29, 2025. He was the son of the late Joseph and Pearl (Fisher) Dulin and the loving husband of Kathleen M. (Rehak) Dulin, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

Galen was a member of the Upper Perkiomen High School Class of 1965, where he was a proud member of the championship football team. He served his country honorably in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, Galen took on the challenge of pursuing higher education, graduating with a bachelor's degree from Marywood College while working and putting himself through night school-a proud achievement that showcased his dedication and perseverance.

For 37 years, Galen dedicated his working career to Bell Telephone (later Verizon), where he became a respected manager. He enjoyed playing softball for the Pennsburg Rams, Eagle A.A., and the New Goshenhoppen Church. A lifelong car enthusiast, Galen also found joy in coaching baseball and playing tennis, but nothing was as dear to his heart as time spent with family, particularly on their cherished trips to Williamsburg, VA.

After a fulfilling career, he embraced retirement, cherishing the freedom to indulge in his many passions. Galen's love for the outdoors was unparalleled. He was a member of Camp Green Lane and his family mountain house in Sullivan County. He authored "The Dulin Book", which told the tales of favorite deer stories. He also founded the "Perkiomen Creek Archers" and "Big Daddy G Outfitters," bringing together family and friends to share in the joys of hunting. Galen was also an avid golfer who played regularly with a group of friends, known as the Whackers.

Above all, Galen was a devoted family man. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his daughter, Jill Schildt (Husband, Bob); his son, Joseph Dulin (Wife, Kellie); grandchildren, Mitchell (Wife, Meredith), Alex (Fiancé, Samantha), Joey, Katelyn, Hailey and Kassie; and his great-granddaughter, Margo. His role as "Pop-Pop" was a source of immense pride and joy, and he treasured every moment spent cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. Galen, a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend will forever be missed.

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St. East Greenville, PA 18041 with a burial to follow in New Goshenhoppen Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held from 9:30-10:45 AM.
