Georgette "Jette" Drabiszczak, of Gilbertsville, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest at age 77.
She was born in Pottstown, the eldest of six daughters, to the late George and June (Millward) Bush. After graduating Boyertown High School with Honors, Georgette worked briefly for Container Corporation as an executive assistant. She then worked at her parents' business, Bush's Luncheonette located on 562. This began her long tradition of working side by side with her family. After her parents passed, the family restaurant was sold, although Jette remained through the transition. She once again found herself working with her sister, Connie, at the Runway Grille at Butter Valley Golf Port. Continuing her joy and passion of working alongside family, Jette accepted her final professional role at Final Results Fitness, the health club owned by her Daughter and Son-In-Law. "Nana", as she was affectionately called by family and members alike, cleaned the club until retiring in 2020.
Georgette was a kind soul who had a strong faith. She could often be found reading her bible and writing in her journal to her beloved Son in Heaven, Mikey. One of Jette's favorite spots was sitting in front of the bay window watching the deer and birds, as she cherished God's creation outside.
Jette will be remembered by, daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Rebecca and John Wood; grandchildren: Jason M. Wood, Janna O., wife of Nikolas B. Christine, Jordan M. Wood and Jessa M. Wood; great-granddaughters: Josephine, Eden and Juni Christine; sisters: Connie, wife of David Babb; Judith Ann, wife of Jacob Yorgey, Joanne, wife of Thomas P. Dykie Sr., Karen Bush companion of Michael Ross and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved son Michael, she was preceded in death by her dear sister, Suzanne B. Neiman, wife of Richard T. Neiman.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA from 5:30-7:30 PM with a service beginning at 7:30 PM.
