She spent 32 years as an assembler at Keystone Transformer in Pennsburg and roles at Lifespan Home Care in Quakertown and Family Caregivers in Pennsburg.

She is survived by her twin sons, Wayne Gilbert (Barbara) and David Gilbert; grandchildren, Tara, Briella, Kyle, and Derek; great-grandchildren, Adam, Ayden, Paisley and Savannah; as well as her step-siblings, Connie Shamus, Cathy Hardaker and Marvin O'Connor. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her daughter, Susan Beu, step-father, Connie O'Connor, and siblings, Frances Drescher and Thomas and George Charles.

At Sissy’s request, there will not be a service. Arrangements entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Vets for Vets at www.soldiertocivilian.org.
