Helene Nestler

Helene Ann Nestler, peacefully departed this life on January 6, 2025 at Quakertown Center, at the age of 90. Born on April 12, 1934, in Green Lane, Helene was the daughter of the late Paul, Sr. and Helene (Huebner) Nestler.

A 1952 graduate of East Greenville High School, Helene went on to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Susquehanna University. Her dedication to teaching shaped the lives of countless students, as she shared her love for music as a music teacher in various school districts. Later, she took on the role of a third-grade teacher at Green Lane School, where she inspired young minds and hearts before retiring to become a devoted homemaker.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, June Nestler; nephews, Paul Nestler, III and Eric Nestler; niece, Christel Meyerle and husband, Scott; and her great-nephew, Aleksander Meyerle. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul R. Nestler, Jr.

She will be laid to rest privately with her mother and father in New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
