Joanne M. Metzinger, passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 72 in St. Luke's Carbon Campus. Born on February 10, 1953, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late John T. Metzinger and the late Jean (Creamer) Miller.
Joanne loved playing bingo and cards. She cherished her family dearly and is survived by her children: Peri Mojarad, Stephen Mojarad and his wife Carly Coduto and Gabrielle Gearhart and her husband Robert; her brother, John Metzinger; her step father Alan Miller, as well as an incredible 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Joanne's love for her family was as boundless as her kindness, and her legacy will continue to shine through them.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 10-11 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Services will follow at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org
