John Recchilongo

John M. Recchilongo, 50, died July 2, 2011 at Delaware Community Memorial Hospital, Delaware County.

Born in Paoli, he was a son of the late George L., Sr. and Rita (McMahon) Recchilongo.

He worked with antique automobiles and auto parts working on his own for J & G Auto Parts and also worked in the 1980’s as a cook for local restaurants and Cherrydale Farms for many years before they closed as a maintenance manager. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Pennsburg.

Surviving are a brother, George L. Recchilongo, Jr. of Pennsburg; a sister, Rosemarie Hamilton of Pennsburg; two nieces, Julie M. and Heather A. Hamilton of Pennsburg.

A memorial service will be held 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, Inc., 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. Family and friends may visit from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the funeral home.
