Josephine S. Snedeker, of Red Hill, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, at the age of 85. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Josephine was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jean (Chrzanowski) Lachawiece
Josephine was a graduate of Hallahan High School. She dedicated many years of her life as a production worker for Martech Medical Products Inc. in Harleysville. Even after her retirement, her warm spirit and vibrant energy remained evident as she brought joy to patrons at the Dunkin' Donuts in Pennsburg.
Married to the love of her life, Edgar Snedeker, for an incredible 47 years, Josephine found in him a partner who adored her as she did him. Their life together was marked by profound love and mutual respect, creating a legacy that will forever be cherished by all who knew them.
Her family was her everything. Josephine poured her heart into her sons, Robert Bailey (Donna) and Michael Bailey (Kathy); and her daughters, Bernadette Bailey and Barbara Bailey. As a grandmother to 13 and great-grandmother to 10, she cherished every moment with her grandchildren, imparting wisdom, warmth, and an abundance of love. She is also survived by her brother, Domonic DiDonna (Maria). Her life revolved around her family, and the bond they shared will forever be a beacon of light in their lives.
She is predeceased by her sisters, Mary Bragg and Gloria DiDonna; and her brother, Frank DiDonna.
Beyond her family, Josephine enjoyed the camaraderie found at the bingo hall, where she would often gather with friends, sharing laughter and stories.
Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
