Larry Rims

Lawrence (Larry) Rims, of Barto, PA, beloved companion, father, brother, grandfather and cherished friend, passed away at home on January 13, 2026, at the age of 67. Born in Sellersville, PA, Larry was the son of the late Anthony and Emily (Worm) Rims.

Before graduating from North Penn High School in 1976, Larry could be found hanging out in the Art Room, wearing far-out hippie clothes with various patches he had sewn-on himself.

Known for his quick wit and outgoing personality, Larry made friends easily and treasured those friendships throughout his life, even when losing touch. He enjoyed being in the woods, hunting and fishing, and just hanging out with friends. At home, his artistic talent formed many humorous sketches on notes and homemade cards.

During his working life in the construction industry, Larry assumed many roles, mainly carpentry, framing new construction, roofing, concrete work and, in later years, residential interior painting and clean outs.

Larry was a loving Life Partner to Karla (Moyer) Conrad for the past 21 years. He is also survived by his three daughters; Amy Rims, Megan Rims, Heather Rims and her husband Josh Stefanelli; sister, Diane (Rims) Dziedzic and brothers, Philip and Andrew Rims; and nine grandchildren, Milah, Penelope, Rain, Ozzy, Sid, Anabelle, Elliot, Dorothy and Zach. He is predeceased by a sister Dorothy (Rims) Gragg and a brother, Scott Rims.

The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
