Louis B. Fahs, Sr., of Red Hill, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 23, 2026 at the age of 79. Born in Philadelphia to the late Frank and Elizabeth (Nagy) Fahs, Lou was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, rooted deeply in his faith.
Following his graduation from Roxborough High School in 1965, he honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War for four years. He furthered his education at the College of Textiles and Temple University. Lou then dedicated 18 additional years in the Coast Guard Reserves. He embodied the values of duty and integrity throughout his life.
After his military service, Lou held various positions before eventually joining Accupac in Souderton, where he worked in quality control until his retirement.
A cherished husband to Evelyn A. (MacBurney) Fahs for 55 wonderful years, Lou exemplified what it meant to be a loving family man. Lou took great joy in the company of his grandchildren, often lighting up at the mere mention of their names. He cherished family gatherings, creating lasting memories and instilling the values of love and togetherness in those around him. He is also survived by his children: Kathleen Voth (Christopher), Louis Bruce Fahs, Jr. (Natalie) and Heather Engle (Drew); grandchildren, Trinity, Jenna, Lucas, Aiden, Douden, and Elijah; great-grandson, Kaiden; his twin brother Frank Fahs (Barbara); and one niece and three nephews. He is predeceased by his sister, Susan Fahs.
An avid outdoorsman, Lou found peace and happiness in nature, particularly any time spent by the water. He enjoyed swimming, scuba diving, or enjoying spending time at the beach house in Delaware. In quieter moments, he would indulge in playing games, reading and listening to classical music.
He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and the Mumbauers Gun Club.
