Louise M. Balodis

Louise M. Balodis was called home to the Lord on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at age 84.

She was born in Bingen, PA a daughter of the late John and Evelyn (Beck) Walck. After graduation from high school and beauty school she began her career as the owner/operator of Louise Balodis Beauty Salon and The Back Room Clothing Store in Hellertown, PA. Later, she managed the Harley House for thirty years until retiring.

Louise was a member of Hope Valley Community Church, Red Hill, PA. She found great joy in flowers, gardening, and decorating her home, especially during the holidays. She loved her lord Jesus, and had a deep love for helping others and was always willing to listen, offering guidance and counsel to anyone in need. Above all, she cherished time with her family.

She is survived by her children: Melissa Hunsicker and Peter Balodis III; granddaughter, Rachael Shuey (Kyle) and her children: Marcus, Isabelle, Olivia, Jonathan, Joshua and Micah; granddaughter Elizabeth Wexler and her son Santos Morales III; siblings: John Walck Jr. (Mary) and Ellen Heffner (Ken), Godson Guy Fluck (Judy), Foster daughter Anna Bissey, and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by siblings: Lewis Walck, Orpha Fluck and Lucy Capuano.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing at Hope Valley Community Church, 501 Graber Alley, Red Hill, PA 18076 on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 3-4:00 PM followed by a service at 4 PM. Burial will be private. Online condolences may be offered at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com
