Marsha D. Bieler, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the age of 74. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Frank and Betty (Spring) Massey.
Marsha was a graduate of Thomas McKean High School in Wilmington, DE, and she furthered her education by earning a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Delaware in 1974. This commitment to education blossomed into a fulfilling 20-year career as a pre-school teacher at New Goshenhoppen UCC in East Greenville.
Marsha was the devoted wife of Dennis K. Bieler, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage. Together, they built a warm and loving family, which was always the center of her world. Her greatest joy was being a mother to Heather and David, and in recent years, her heart expanded with love for her grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness.
A faithful woman, Marsha was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Quakertown, where she found peace and purpose in her involvement. She cherished her time in Bible studies and volunteered for various church activities. In her leisure time, Marsha had a passion for reading and often found solace at the Jersey Shore, a place she considered her happy retreat. The memories she created there were as cherished as the time spent with her family.
Marsha is survived by her beloved husband, Dennis, her loving children, Heather Burt and David Bieler (Ashley); her grandchildren, Paige, William and Grant; her brothers Mark Massey and Neal Massey (Robin); nieces, Amy, Laura and Christie; and many friends and extended family who will miss her warmth and kindness.
A viewing will be held from 9-10:15 AM with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 AM at Providence Presbyterian Church, 2200 Krammes Rd, Quakertown, PA 18951. Burial will take place in New Goshenhoppen UCC Cemetery, East Greenville. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Providence Presbyterian Church at the address above.
