Mary Sue Cope

Mary Sue Cope, 88, of Barto, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of the late Paul Cope, with whom she shared many wonderful years of marriage until his passing in 2023.

Mary Sue dedicated her life to what mattered most to her-her family. As a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home filled with love. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with those she loved, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart.

In her quieter moments, Mary Sue enjoyed getting lost in the pages of a good book or challenging herself with a crossword puzzle. These simple pleasures brought her comfort and contentment throughout the years.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Jason W. Wright, Nathan P. Wright, and Amanda K. Wright; and three great-grandchildren, Brendon, Benjamin, and Lincoln. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Michelle L. Wright; and son, Brian P. Cope.

Following Mary's wish, there will be no services.
