With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Asher Silvers Sr., who left this world far too soon on August 30, 2026, at the age of 44. Born in Abington, PA, Mike was a beloved son, husband, father, and friend. He was the cherished son of Ann Kita of Boswell, PA and the late Milton Silvers. He shared 20 wonderful years of his life, including 13 beautiful years of marriage to his loving wife, Jamie (Lafferty) Silvers. Together, they created a family, a life full of love, and a lifetime of adventures that will never be forgotten.

Mike was a dedicated father to his children-Nicholas Richard Mongan, Asher Brendan Finkle Michael Asher Silvers, Jr. and Grace Marie Silvers- who were the joys of his life. He will be remembered as a devoted family man, whose greatest happiness came from being a husband and father.

Mike attended school in the Quakertown School District and after traveled the world building miniature golf courses. He then went on to become a self-employed construction worker, where his skilled hands and creative vision showed in every project he undertook.

Known as a social butterfly, Mike effortlessly made friends wherever he went. His caring nature meant he was always ready to lend a hand. He was an individual who was never idle, always finding ways to keep himself busy. He enjoyed fishing, playing horseshoes, or indulging in his artistic passions like drawing and woodworking. An avid music lover, he believed that the louder the music, the better the experience.

As we remember Mike, let us keep his vibrant spirit alive in our hearts, celebrating the love he shared and the lives he touched.

He is also survived by his sister, Elizabeth Freed; in laws, Michael and Cheryl Lafferty; brothers in law, Michael Lafferty, Jr.. and Kyle Lafferty; best friend and cousin, Sam Gabel; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family who loved him deeply. In addition to his father, he is predeceased by a brother-in-law, Ryan Lafferty; grandfather, Alexander Kita; and grandmother, Anne Russell.

A viewing will be held from 10 to 11:45 AM followed by a funeral service at 12 PM on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA.
