Nina Ann Townsend

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Nina Townsend (Vanwinkle), a beloved wife, mother, and caretaker, who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 60.

Nina was born on November 9, 1965. She devoted her life to caring for others, both personally and professionally. As a caretaker and daycare teacher, Nina touched many lives with her patience, kindness, and gentle spirit. Children and families alike were blessed by her warmth and dedication.

Nina had a deep love for reading and enjoyed expressing herself through art and crafts. She found joy in creating and sharing that joy with others. Above all, Nina was known for her selfless heart. She was a caring person who always put everyone else first and took great pride in making those around her happy.

She is survived by her loving husband, Robert Townsend; her daughter, Shantell Townsend; and her two sons, Robert Townsend and Randy Townsend. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Nina's legacy is one of love, compassion, and generosity. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
