Raymond S. Maund, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on February 8, 1937, in Philadelphia, PA, Raymond's life was characterized by dedication, love, and a strong work ethic.

He served our nation as a member of the US Army, earning the rank of Sergeant before being honorably discharged. After his military service, he devoted many years to his work as a tool and die maker at Yale Forklift and other technical positions thereafter. His labor shaped not only his career but also the lives of those around him, as he was known for his unwavering commitment and skill.

Raymond embraced community and mentorship, dedicating an extraordinary 57 years to Scouting. He served in various leadership positions for troops in the Philadelphia Region, including Troop 3 in Hatboro, PA. He took great pride in watching all three of his sons-Stephen, Mark, and Jeffrey-earn the rank of Eagle Scout, a testament to the values of perseverance and integrity he instilled in them.

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Peggy (Bieler) Maund; his sons: Stephen (wife Vickie), Mark (wife Tracey), and Jeffrey (wife Kim); his grandchildren Benjamin and Elizabeth Maund, and Leni Snead; and his sister, Katherine Dryburgh. Raymond was preceded in death by son, David Maund and brother William Maund.

Services and inurnment for Raymond will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Palm Schwenkfelder Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
