Robert J. Faraco, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Pennsburg on August 12, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was 85. Born in Philadelphia, Bob was the son of the late Peter and Christine (Grossauer) Faraco.
A dedicated and hardworking man, Bob graduated from La Salle High School and proudly carried on his family's legacy as a second-generation business owner. For more than 50 years, he owned and operated Faraco Knife and Slicer Co. in Pennsburg, where his dedication to his work was evident in everything he did. With determination and care, Bob transformed a rundown farmhouse into a beautiful family home and the site of his business. He took tremendous pride in the property he had restored, especially the evergreens he planted throughout the landscape.
Bob approached life with energy and enthusiasm. An avid golfer and natural athlete, he became club champion at Melrose Country Club and accomplished the remarkable feat of making two holes-in-one. He was also a devoted Philadelphia sports fan and could always be counted on to enthusiastically cheer for his hometown teams.
Bob had a special love for dogs and enjoyed the companionship, fun, and joy they brought to his home over the years. He also took great satisfaction in the life he built for himself-his business, his property, his interests, and the many things he worked hard to accomplish throughout his life.
Bob shared 65 years of marriage with his wife, Lorraine, and was proud to see his family grow through the generations. He leaves behind his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward their own memories of him.
Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years, Lorraine (DiDonato) Faraco; his children, Christine Faraco and Robert Faraco, Jr. (Kathy Blair); his grandchildren, Sandra Miller (Alexander), David Williams (Samantha), Michael Williams (Vanessa), Robert Faraco, III, and Madison Faraco; and his 13 great-grandchildren, Chip, Tony, Owen, Stella, Archie, Mikey, Ace, Gabe, Lilly, Sophie, Teddy, Gianna, and Auggie. He is also survived by his brothers, Peter and James Faraco. He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Faraco.
Family and friends are invited to a public viewing on Monday, August 17, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
