Robert Rothrock

Robert R. Rothrock, 90, of Gilbertsville, PA, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026. He was the widower of Edith Mae (Hoffman) Rothrock.

He was born in Old Zionsville to the late Earl Sr. and Anna (Kurtz) Rothrock. Bob was an Army veteran and last worked for many years as a laborer at Solt's Sawmill until retirement. His previous employment included Boyertown Body Works, Morysville Body Works, Oliver Reid Paving and Yarnall Paving.

He was a member of Liberty, Sassamansville, Keystone and Friendship Hook and Ladder Fire Companies.

He is survived by his daughters: Roberta, wife of Robert "Bob" Yost Jr. and Barbara, wife of Jeffery Youse; sister: Anna "Pat" Gamler; grandchildren: Robert "Bobby" Yost III, Stacy, wife of Donta Murphy, Kyle, husband of Becky Jones, Tyler Jones and one step-grandchild; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Jariah, Blake, Grayson and Dakota; great-great-grandson, Malachi; five step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brothers: Oscar, Earl Jr., Albert, Joseph, William and Kenneth.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
