Roy L. Stevens, 82, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at his home on Monday, April 6, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Marian L. (Fox) Stevens, with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.
Born in Sellersville, he was the son of late Harvey and Elsie (Wolf) Stevens. He was a 1961 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and served in the Army during Vietnam. Roy's employment included 32 years in quality control at Boise-Cascade, nine years in upholstery and various other roles at Knoll Inc. and lastly, he worked in compression molding at Greene Tweed before retiring.
Roy was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and also a member of American Legion Perkiomen Post 184. He loved genealogy, taking trips to Gettysburg and was an avid hunter. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters: Monica Stevens and wife Kristen Paul, Connie Taglieber and husband Michael; grandchildren: Autumn and Logan Taglieber; siblings: Elaine Stevens and Warren Stevens and husband John Burkley; nephew: Todd Shearer; nieces: Nicole Belick and Julia Mahan; and many nieces and nephews on Marian's side of the family. He is predeceased by a sister: Lorraine Shearer and brother in law: Patrick Shearer.
An evening viewing will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, April 12th at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 1841. A second viewing will be held on Monday, April 13th from 10 to 10:45 AM at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 81 Main St, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM. Burial will take place in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery.
