Suzanne I. Boesch, 76, of Palm, peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late James Edward Boesch, with whom she shared 52 years of a devoted and joy-filled marriage until his passing in 2021.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, Suzanne was the cherished daughter of the late John and Gladys (Bard) Lynch. She lived a life marked by deep compassion, unwavering faith, and a steadfast love for her family and community.
A graduate of Bishop Kenrick High School in Norristown, Class of 1966, Suzanne later dedicated many years to the Alumni and Development Office at Perkiomen School prior to her retirement. Her kind heart and gentle spirit also found a home at Bible Baptist Church in Breinigsville, where she was an active and faithful member, participating in a variety of church activities.
Suzanne had a gift for nurturing others-both in presence and in craft. She found great joy in crocheting, especially baby blankets lovingly made for family and friends. She was also an avid supporter of her hometown teams, cheering enthusiastically for the Philadelphia Flyers and Phillies.
Above all, Suzanne delighted in her role as a mother and grandmother. Her home was a place of comfort and tradition, where she lovingly prepared family dinners each evening and special Sunday breakfasts before church. The anticipation of becoming a great-grandmother brought her immense joy, and though she will not hold them in her arms, her legacy of love will surely embrace them.
She is deeply loved and missed by her children: Elizabeth Elisii of Runnemede, NJ, Karen Gyarmati of Jim Thorpe, Kathleen Diehl and husband Michael of Green Lane, Lori Glass and husband Allan of Salem, MA, and James Boesch and wife Erica of Barto. She also leaves behind 11 treasured grandchildren: Ava Elisii, Tyler Zablan and wife Zeslie, Mason Gyarmati, Emily Irwin and husband Nicholas, Braeden Diehl and wife Sarah, Avery Houston and husband Connor, Kelly Diehl, Isaac Glass, and David, Ethan, and Jason Boesch; along with two great-grandchildren on the way.
Suzanne is also survived by her loving siblings: Dot Krewson and husband Bob, John and Berta Lynch, and Diane Shepker; and many dear nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Betty Hallman.
Her life beautifully reflected the words of Proverbs 31:
"A wife of noble character, who can find? She is worth far more than rubies... She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her... Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate."
- Proverbs 31:10, 27-28, 31
