Terry Berryman, 63, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025, surrounded by his family at Cedarbrook Allentown Senior Care & Rehab, following years of declining health.
Born in Sellersville on August 2, 1963, Terry was the son of the late William J. and Betty E. (Krause) Berryman. He grew up in the area and graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School before earning a degree in horticulture from Delaware Valley University, where he also played football.
Terry's lifelong love of nature led him to a successful career in landscaping. As the owner of Bear's Landscaping in Schwenksville, he was admired for his deep knowledge of plants and his dedication to his craft. He later worked as a school bus driver and, earlier in life, he founded Bears Security to provide safety at local concerts.
An avid outdoorsman, Terry was skilled in both firearms and archery. He cherished hunting and fishing trips with his beloved son, Hunter, and with relatives in Wisconsin. He also enjoyed beach vacations in South Carolina and Mexico, where he once caught an exceptional marlin proudly displayed in his home.
Terry was a devoted sports fan, especially of the Philadelphia Eagles and the West Virginia Mountaineers, and attended many games over the years. Known for his outgoing personality, he made countless friends and remained a source of joy even as his health declined. At Cedarbrook, he continued to share his passion for gardening by advising on plantings and tending to the center's outdoor flower beds.
He is survived by his son, Hunter; three brothers, Donald (the late, Cindy), Larry (Rona), and Ronald (Lisa); and many nieces and nephews. He is also remembered by his former wife, Kristina Olson, with whom he shared many years of marriage and the joy of raising their child. In addition to his parents, Terry was predeceased by his sister, Debra Hoffman (Paul) of Macungie.
A memorial service will begin at 11:30am on Monday, November 24, 2025 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:15am. You may leave online condolences by visiting www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
