Therese A. Spohn, of East Greenville, passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Upper Hanover Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Anna (Henry) Chipakits.
Therese was a dedicated seamstress and devoted many years to her craft, working for several factories in the area.
In 1963, Therese married Raymond R. Spohn, Jr., and they shared a beautiful life together for 40 years until his passing in 2003. A woman of deep faith, Therese was a devoted member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg.
Therese had a passion for crocheting, jigsaw puzzles, and cooking.
She is survived by her children: Daniel Spohn, Rosanna Zentner, Susanna Ihlenfeld (Douglas) and Vincent Spohn (Heather); her grandchildren, Matthew, Miranda, Logan and Crowyn; her great-grandson, Hudson; and her brother, Joseph Chipakits. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by siblings, Agnes Huggard and George Chipakits.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Luke's Hospice House, 2455 Black River Rd, Bethlehem, PA 18015.
