Wendy Sue Mutter, of Bally, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the age of 59. She was the beloved wife of Glenn A. Mutter, with whom she shared 36 years of marriage. Wendy was a beloved figure in her community, known for her unwavering warmth and dedication
Wendy was born in Pottstown, one of four children of the late Earl and Mary (Stoner) Hafer. Wendy graduated from Boyertown Area Senior High School in 1984 and while working attended Montgomery County Community College.
Wendy enjoyed a fulfilling career as an office worker, holding various positions, including office manager at CSI Maximus in King of Prussia. Her most recent role as the Bally Borough Manager showcased her commitment to serving her community and made her a pillar of support to those around her.
Outside of work, Wendy had a zest for life that radiated in her many passions. A true Philadelphia Eagles fan, she famously shed tears of joy when the team won the Super Bowl. Her love for the beach was unmatched; it was there that she found peace and joy, surrounded by the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun. Wendy also enjoyed visiting casinos, where the thrill of taking risks provided her with a much-needed escape and source of excitement. Racing and NASCAR captivated her heart as she cheered on her favorite drivers, relishing in their victories as her own.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Heather, Allana and Austin as well as siblings: Scott (Peggy) Hafer and Sharon (Dale) Leister. She was also preceded in death by a brother John Hafer.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a visitation at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 9-10:45 AM followed by a service to celebrate her life at 11:00 AM. Casual dress is recommended. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Noah's Arc Rescue Project for Pets by visiting www.noahsarps.com
